Creating Freedom: Movement, Joy & Belonging

“The task is to try and live our lives in the way that we envision freedom looking like and feeling like.” -Alicia Garza

Join us on Sunday, March 3rd for Creating Freedom: Movement, Joy & Belonging with celebrated arts educator, choreographer & community builder Sarah Crowell (Destiny Arts, Othering & Belonging Institute), musician, poet & activist BenjaSoul, and the heart-opening voices of the Wildchoir.

In times that can feel so heavy and hopeless, we are called to keep moving toward freedom. What is the role that the arts and movement play in creating a world of joy and justice? How can we cultivate the trust, skills and practices to make belonging real? Gather with us in Oakland or virtually as we come together at the intersections of art, community, movement, love and liberation.

IN-PERSON & VIRTUAL: Oakland & Bay area folks...come out in person and bring a friend. For folks in other locations, be part of the magic by joining us live on Zoom.
