Transforming Justice: The Healing Power of Racial & Restorative Justice

"We are so good at causing harm, but history is asking us to become healers." -Fania Davis

Join us on Sunday, February 5th for Transforming Justice: The Healing Power of Racial & Restorative Justice with author, civil rights trial attorney and restorative justice practitioner Fania Davis and award-winning spoken word & hip hop artist Kane Smego.

Out of a long history of harm and injustice, a healing tide is rising. While there is a tremendous amount of structural and cultural transformation still before us, there are countless bright spots lighting the way. What does a more healing and restorative approach to justice look like in our lives, communities and society? How are our racial and restorative justice movements leading the way to a more loving and liberated world? Join in as we gather at the intersections of healing, justice, spirit, language and liberation.

WHAT: This event is part of the Beloved Community Journey, a series of learning, practice and action to create a world where we all belong and thrive. Our theme for February is "Transforming Justice & Power."
