We Are Made of Stories: Changing the Narrative, Transforming the World

"The world changes according to the way people see it. If you can alter, even by a millimeter, the way people look at reality, then you can change the world." -James Baldwin

Join us on Sunday, January 9th for We Are Made of Stories: Changing the Narrative, Transforming the World with cherished elder, Zen priest and movement strategist Norma Wong and celebrated poet, teacher & activist Drew Dellinger

Stories define us and shape the world. They are the cultural codes that determine the life and structure of our society. How can we decolonize the life-destroying narratives in our minds and hearts and embody those that connect us with each other, the earth and all of life? How do we make the shift from a worldview of separation, othering and opposition to a worldview of interconnectedness, belonging and co-creation? We are made of stories - that live on from our ancestors to our lives to the future ones. Join us as we gather to explore the power of narrative, beloved community and transforming the world.
