The Ecology of Justice: Pathways to a Just Transition

"Now is the time to make justice a reality for all." -Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Power is not brute force and money; power is in your spirit. Power is in your soul. It is what your ancestors, your old people gave you. Power is in the earth; it is in your relationship to the earth." -Winona LaDuke

Join us on Sunday, Feb 6th for The Ecology of Justice: Pathways to a Just Transition with educator & climate justice organizer Gopal Dayaneni (co-founder of Movement Generation), performance artist & prophetic voice YaNi Davis(founder of My SupaNatural Life), and beloved Kele Nitoto of the Thrive Choir (founder of Oakland Hand Drums).

We are living in the middle of a planet-wide transition, one that asks us to transform everything and defend justice everywhere. How do we make the shift from a power-over, labor exploiting and life-destroying paradigm to one that is built upon a culture of dignity, regenerative economies, democratic governance and the well-being of all? What are the pathways to a Just Transition and practices for developing a new way of relating to each other and the sacred world we are rooted in? Join us for this timely gathering at the intersections of power, justice, ecology, music and life.
