Transforming the System: Inside and Out

“You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.” - Angela Davis

Join us on Thursday, Feb 17th for Transforming the System: Inside and Out with racial justice organizer Chinyere Tutashinda (Executive Director at the Center for Third World Organizing), climate justice organizer Michelle Gabrieloff-Parish (Sr. Program Manager at Climate Innovation), and restorative circle facilitator Garry Malachi Scott(Community Restorative Justice Coordinator at Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth) hosted by conflict transformation leader AddieRose Mayer (Executive Director at SEEDS Community Resolution Center).

Injustice is everywhere. From the carceral systems to racial inequities to environmental destruction - our systems need a radical transformation. How do we create systemic change in ways that bridge the fierce shifts we're creating in our structures with the restoration we're needing inside ourselves through healing, compassion and love? What are practices we can use for addressing harm, conflict and oppression that can be deeply transformative for us all? Join us for an inspiring conversation with community tenders from Restorative Justice, Movement for Black Lives and Environmental Justice.

WHEN: Thursday, February 17th from 5pm - 6:30pm PT / 8pm - 9:30pm ET (please arrive on time!)
